Straddie Lomi Lomi training March 24 – What a heartfelt experience!

I invite you to view the video we took of participants expressing a heartfelt and transformative experience.

A place as natural and picturesque as it is wildly spiritual, Minjerribah, affectionately known as ‘Straddie’ offers a perfect retreat venue for learning of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage.  I’ve often come here as a kid and marvelled in the natural state of living by ‘island time’ exploring it’s many and varied natural features.

The headland beaches wrap around the point so that no matter the wind direction or the swell, a perfect beach option is almost always guaranteed.   To further support Hawaiian massage and way of life, the deeply sacred inland lakes, rockpools, natural springs and walking trails, gently yet profoundly activate the teachings.

The natural formations are further out in the Pacific than any of the Australian mainland, attracting all sorts of large marine life in visible view.  From whales, dolphins and turtles to large manta rays and sharks, our visitors marvelled at the regular sightings.  Not to forget the abundant land life, you may just catch a joey relaxing in its mother’s pouch or a cheeky Kookaburra on your deck looking for a feed.

It was here that we have just completed two back to back Lomi Lomi training retreats – levels 1 and 2.

Through massage, intention setting, letting go processes and sound/heart meditations, we cultivated and supported a heart centred state of being in alignment with all the natural elements we visited across Straddie.  While days of rain showers were experienced through both retreats, we found that the vast views over the ocean observing the rolling waves and rain as we massaged, invited us all into a deepness, and cocooned us in the elements before finally opening up to final beautiful days of sunshine.  It really did feel like a butterfly awakening into a lighter, happier and freer Self to be explored and embraced.

This time will always be fondly remembered for the shared connections.  What amazing energy of love and support.  I invite you to view the video we took of participants expressing a heartfelt and transformative experience.

We can’t wait to do this again later this year and are always updating our offerings so please keep checking.

Mahalo and much love!
